This Gospel Shall Be Preached! (pt. 1of 3)


This is the 7th edition of TST (The Signs of the Times) and for the past 7 weeks, we have been focusing on frightening politics and dangerous weather. It can often seem as though all of the signs of His coming must be fearful and dangerous! Truthfully, many are! Yet there is one that is thrilling to all saints everywhere! It is the only end-times prophecy that we ourselves can help to bring about! Even more exciting is that, by working to do so, we may even see the Rapture sooner!
In Mt. 24:14, Jesus said�

�And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then, finally, the end will come.�

According to these words of Christ, the farther the Gospel of Jesus Christ goes out into all the world, the nearer we are to the Lord�s return!! So the compelling question before us is this�

�How close are we to fulfilling this �Great Commission?�

The short answer is�much closer than ever before in the last 2000 years!! The longer answer includes many amazing and unprecedented developments that have come about in just the last 20 years�here is the first of 3 of the most exciting break-throughs in world evangelism which we will be looking at over the next few weeks.
I believe each and all of these 3 phenomena to be clear signals of the Lord�s soon return for His church!

�The Jesus Film Project� !
This ministry was begun in 1979 by �Campus Crusade for Christ�. It has grown miraculously!! As of this month,
there are 2,872 �film teams� traveling throughout the world showing the �Jesus� film in 1,033 different language translations to Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims and Animists in Asia and Africa who have never heard the gospel before � until NOW!! There have been 6 billion viewing of the Jesus film since 1979. Some 200,000,000 people have made a confession of Christ since 1979!

Here is an excerpt from a diary kept by Gary Dunseath, a missionary to Liberia in Africa�
�Tonight was the night to show the �Jesus Film� in the Gio language. Over 600 people came to watch it on a 20 in. screen which we were able to borrow�When Jesus was born, all that was heard from the people was a great �aahhhh!��
When a miracle is performed, they share in a collective cheer of amazement!� (Their) sadness at the crucifixion and (their) joy at the resurrection nearly made me cry� God, You must be delighting in this!�
