This Gospel Shall Be Preached�! (pt. 2 Of 3)


�And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then, finally, the end will come.�

According to these words of Christ, the farther the Gospel of Jesus Christ goes out into all the world, the nearer we are to the Lord�s return!! So the question we�ve been looking at these past 2 weeks is this�

�How close are we to fulfilling this �Great Commission?�

Here is the second of 3 articles I want to share with you, telling of the most exciting recent break-throughs in world evangelism which I believe to be clear signals of the Lord�s soon return for His church!

The opening of the �10-40 window�!
These latitude lines mark off the countries which have been the most difficult to reach for the gospel in the history of missions work. Now, because of satellite broadcasting and a recent �explosion� of converts in the Muslim world, the 10-40 window is opening! Consider this quote from a very well-respected Baptist site�

�More Muslims converted to faith in Jesus Christ over the past decade than at any other time in human history. A spiritual revolution is underway throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.� These are the very locations of the countries of the �10-40 window�!! http://jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/19621.htm

One very interesting development occurred just a few years ago when the governments of the Islamic nations found out that Mel Gibson�s film, �The Passion of the Christ� portrayed the Jewish Pharisees in a very negative light. Eager to demonize Jewish people, they made a very rare decision to allow this western film to be shown in their countries. As a result, hundreds of thousands of muslim people saw the gospel story for the very first time! Eyewitnesses reported that many of these precious souls were seen to be exiting the theaters in tears, so moved were they by the crucifixion scene. Many hundreds of conversions resulted from these film showings and, no doubt, many more will follow as the Holy Spirit waters those seeds!
Our God can open doors that no man can shut! So as always�
