One Worldone Dreamone Dress Rehearsal!
Many who watched the Opening Ceremony of the XXVIII Olympiad might agree that it was probably the greatest overall performance in human history! But it was just a small dress rehearsal for the parade of nations that will soon come to Jerusalem to honor and pledge allegiance to the King of earth, the Lord Jesus!
Following His victory at the Battle of Armageddon, the King of Kings comes to take up His rightful throne in Jerusalem and His 1,000 year reign on earth begins! Of the 7 great feasts of Israel ordained by God in the bible, only one of those holidays will still be celebrated during this Millennial Kingdom the Feast of Tabernacles (Booths)! The prophet Zechariah gave us a prophecy of those days some 500 years before Christ
In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. Zechariah 14 : 16
Yet how is it that todays nations who do not at all honor our scriptures should be so excited to come together in a manner that so resembles our scriptures?! The answer is found in those same scriptures!
He has planted eternity in the human heart Ecclesiastes 3 : 11a
God Himself has made humans everywhere to have a place in their heart that longs for peace, unity and harmony, but these things were lost in our fall from grace in Eden. Despite all our best slogans and dreams, world peace will only be regained when the Prince of Peace regains His throne in our hearts and His throne in Jerusalem. When He does, we will see an annual parade of the nations at the Feast of Booths in Jerusalem more glorious than we can think or imagine!
He was given authority, honor, and royal power over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. Daniel 7 : 14
When Christs 1,000 year reign on earth is finally over, and we are all gathered in the heavenly city of New Jerusalem, there will be a final blessing for every race and tribe
On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22 : 2
Look up, saints, for your redemption draweth nigh!
